Alex Waddell teaches a range of carving course that offer people with all backgrounds a chance to turn there hand to carving stone. 

Over a day you will be given a stone and design to work from and helped to produce your own carving that you can walk away with at the end of the day. 

It a great experience but also a good way to dip your foot into the water if you or someone you love has ever wondered what its like but doesn't want to invest a lot of time or money.
